Google Chrome Issues

I purchased the Dell G7 laptop recently. The first few things I did after turning on was go through the Windows startup prompts, downloaded Chrome and imported my bookmarks to my new laptop, installed Office 2016 (works perfectly), and installed CCleaner to scan the registry and fixed all issues there (I did create a backup registry just in case). I've also deleted some bloatware like the trial McAfee, trial games, etc.

Everything is pretty much running smoothly except I'm having issues with connecting to certain websites. My Chrome is super slow on certain websites, particularly bank websites. I have no issues with these sites on my old (9-year-old) laptop. I would get messages like:

    This site can’t be reached
The webpage at https://www13.bmo.com/onlinebanking/OLB?id=4417319407255389615 might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

I'm trying different websites that I typically go to and have had no issues. I'm only having trouble with bank websites. It's not one-off either. It's happened 2 days in a row and, as mentioned, my old laptop does not have issues accessing those sites.

What I've tried so far is to use ipconfig /dnsflush and rebooted. No luck. Would appreciate any assistance!

    Edit - Some additional details:
    - Running Windows 10 Home
    - Running Chrome Version 68.0.3440.84 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Let me know if there are any other details (short of bank passwords :)) that you need to assess.

I can access the site but being a bank site it advises me the the site has expired and that I should sign in again.

As mentioned, there's nothing wrong with the website for sure because my old laptop that is also running Chrome has no issue accessing the site. However, I find the site extremely slow to load. When the log on page does load and I type in my login info, it may or may not load. About half the time, I would get the above message that the webpage might be temporarily down or it may be moved.

When I google this issue, I've noticed that people have had this problem before. But there isn't any obvious solution from what I've seen. I've tried a number of things including winsock reset; dnsflush; restarting laptop; clearing cookies, closing the browser and reopening. Nothing has worked. I'm out of ideas. :(
