I use Google.com for my home page, and while I know Google periodically changes the Google logo for a day, I recently have had this picture come up and it just looks bizarre. It's been there several days now. I was just wondering if it's legitimate or have I contracted some virus or something. Does anyone else get this picture?

I use win 7 with Firefox. I also use Roboform form filler and have for years, but just since this new picture started, Roboform fills in my birthrate in the search field which has never happened before.
I have included a screen shot of the home page here before it dropped my birthday in the search field.

If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear from you.

Well that's good to hear. It is a Bizarre looking picture, isn't it? If you hover over the red arrow on the right side of the logo it says something about "Happy birthday to John Lennon".
I suppose it's probably legit. But it sure is making my Roboform act weird. and the search results for 11-20-1942 looks real strange too. Maybe the day I was born the world went goofy.
Thanks for your help. I really do appreciate your effort to take the time to respond.

Did you click on the red arrow?
    Cool.

Caliban I don't need no steenkin' title!

It's because Lennon was bizarre. ;)

As far as the Roboform, I've seen this phenomenon before - strange Flash, Java, and Shockwave instances have adverse effects on the program occasionally. Usually rights itself with time, but I have heard of users having to reinstall the program.

Thanks Caliban, Good idea. I've never had it happen before, but I will try to reinstall and see what happens.
It seems to me that Google never used those strange images for more then a day.
I'll post back if that works, if not I'll wait for Google to regain their sanity.

Yes, and I see nothing unusual about it. Well, OK, perhaps it's unusual in that it links to a video; usually, the special logo renditions are just special graphics. As you said, Google frequently does special things with their logo. BTW, though, I don't believe this has been there for "several days". I don't recall seeing it until yesterday. Today (Oct. 9) is the actual anniversary date of his birthday.

Well re-install of Roboform didn't help, but given the fact that this just started doing this with that new graphic, I'll just wait for it to go away. usafveteran, I think your probably correct about the time frame. It just seems longer probably because of Roboform's strange reaction to the Graphic. Then again some of that funny smoke coming from Lennon's grave probably has my Roboform acting a little giddy.
    Thanks again all.
