Google Earth

    When a user makes a place marker and sends it to me, and I click on it, google earth opens and brings me to the location they sent me.
    But, when I do the same and they open the file, google earth opens, but does not bring them to the location.
    The OS I am using is windows 7 64 bit and the OS the other user is using is windows xp 32bit. We are both using version 7.1.2.2041.
    If you need any more info, please ask.
    Any insight would be helpful.
