oh dear jeebus,... only in beta mode and the maps alone KILL mapquest or whatever other mapping things i have seen. havent tested directions yet... but my oh my look out mapquest.

I entered "flower shops in " and my zip and I got all the shops in my town.

Do you know when they will go International. Looking for a good map for the UK. Using MultiMap right now, but the zoom is kind of finicky...................

Google accuired a world imaging company called Keyhole a few months ago...

They've got lots of data not just with the images but the place names/street maps to go with. I'd imagine they're using that data with this new map program.

 

i have yet to find a map that shows my school and the new road by it. (7 years old) but now i know that is there i will use it over other maps!! go google!!!

 

Yeah it does sound kinda 'pervy' ............ lol.

Amazing stuff though. Like you can kind of do a flyover.

A lot of things UK interests me. Have friends there. Have been there myself, not working just visiting. Had been looking for a better map for ages, and then this came up re. Google.
Also the links you gave me are very helpful.

 

Great site. This is getting a little spooky. I don't think I've put down anywhere that I'm
