Google Installer

Greetings everyone,

You've helped me in the past, and I'm reaching out to you once again. I've got a co-workers PC that won't allow me to do anything.

Upon bootup, it starts a Google Intaller Window.
~Google Installer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

It also opens up the My Documents folder.

I've tried to insert a CD Rom into the drive and install Super AntiSpyware, however I get an error while doing that in normal startup and safe mode.

He had Norton 360 installed. Clicking on it in normal mode, it does not load. Clicking on it in safe mode, it tells me it cannot run in safe mode.

I installed Avira, however I cannot get that to load either.

I've installed Adaware, will not install.

I've installed Spy-Bot, that installs, however it will not run.

I installed CC Cleaner, ran that, cleaned up the registry, and even tried to disable any startups i could.

I have also tried Ctrl-alt-del to stop processes that are running that may impede my cleaning, and i turned something off that caused windows to tell me it was shutting down and i had 45 secs to save my work, because one of it's services had terminated unexpectedly.

Also, after some clicking around, trying to open files and folders, I hear an internal "beep" and the Pc is frozen. Nothing works except for holding down the power button.

Where can i go from here? Please advise.

Is this a Google Installer issue ?

 

Well,

I got rid of google installer error message by taking out google references using Regedit.

I got AdAware to run in safe mode, however it did not find anything. Cannot get SuperAnti Spyware to install, gives me an error message upon clicking the install icon. Neither of ym AntiVirus programs will run, nor will Spy-Bot S&D.

 

Update;

Read through some posts from Chasalang, ran TDSSKILLEr and it found a hodden file, prompted me to delete it, which I did, and upon restart I was able to run Super Anti Spyware, so starting the cleaning process now, and will ask to post my Hi-jack this log once my cleaning is complete based upon your cleaning guide.
