Google Map Addys

does anyone have a grip on what the various sections of the URL mean for these? i had 2 street views, half a block from each other, and URLs are so wildly diff i'm scratching my head:

https://www.google.com/maps/@42.412...200.69327&pitch=0&thumbfov=100!7i13312!8i6656

why does the latter have a second "https: ..."? esp one with signs of being thumbnail related?! i tried lopping it off, but no joy. it seems critical for keeping things in street view.

however, a little creative MERGING of the two, i get what i'm looking for:

why didn't it just produce that on its own?

EDIT: they don't look all that diff once the "..." contraction kicks in!! how do i turn that OFF?!

tried applying "unlink" to each of those, but it did nothing. still contracted, and still hotlinked.

 

2d URL supposed to be:

while i was messing around with the flaky "unlink" button -- and trying to fend off the unwanted "contraction" un the URL -- the time expired for me to correct the REAL stuff i needed to. this is annoying.

NB: can't figure out how to turn off that annoying "..." link contraction -- which in this case messes up EVERYTHING -- so i pre-broke the links by hand. seeing the full URLs here more important than having them hotlinked.
