    Hi guys!

I recently change my RSS reader to Google reader which is my default reader now. I love it because i can access it on any comp and i have no problem saving all those feeds and stuff. But i noticed that it does not update Majorgeeks feed regulary. So i googled about this problem and i i found this.

    http://groups.google.com/group/google-reader-troubleshoot/browse_thread/thread/14965a31ed8d18fc/2fd9ade2fe355aba?q=feed%2C+updating&pli=1

Can you fix this so it will work with Google reader? That would be very nice cause i find it very useful and i don't want to change it and i miss feeds from this site.

(BTW i didn't know where to post this and i apologize if location is wrong)

Thanks for replay and keep up good work, i hope you can do something about it, Cheers!

I've been using google reader for about a year and love it.

I just subscribed to this software support feed so I'll see what happens for me and report in! :major

    Hey!

Great man, but i think you'll have the same problem...Cause i know this feed updates every day and as live feed in firefox it does, but in Google reader it doesn't. It updates three times a week..Here is a post from Google reader support forum

    "Hi guys,

Thanks for bringing this up. I took a look at the majorgeeks.com feeds
in question, and it appears the problem is that the feed is reusing
GUIDs. That is to say, the URL associated with each post needs to be
unique for Reader to acknowledge each new post as a distinct, unique
item. When an item in a feed reuses one of these unique identifiers
from a previous post, Reader interprets the new post as an update to
the older post with that same identifier, thus placing it far back in
the feed. An example would be the post titled 'TeamViewer 4.1.6261'.
This post was made around June 16th, 2009, but if you scroll back in
the feed in Reader, you'll find it way back at February 20th, 2008.
You may want to alert the administrators of this feed concerning this
    issue. "

So if anybody solves this, please let me now.

    TNX, cheers!

The Google Reader gadget on my Google homepage works fine with the MajorGeeks.com Homepage. But the Google Feed Reader (RSS) for MajorGeeks.com is hit and miss.
