Google really blows

  1. Ever notice how hard Google tries to sell you something?

It used to be a search engine. Now it's just a pushy salesman.

Try to find a review of some type of consumer electronics; all you'll find are online retailers who put the word "review" in their page descriptors to trap your search.

I tried to find my bank's home page the other day with the bank's name in quotes and the words "home" and "page," but could not find it using Google -- all it would spit out was hundreds of pages of other banks trying to refinance my mortgage or student loans.

I had to give up and use Ask.com, where my bank's home page was the first listing (with the same search criterion, no less).

Really, Google blows. They should separate the online shopping/sales aspect from genuine informational searches.

    There, now I feel better.

Which is why I tend to use Clustering Search engines these days to narrow searches down, by catagory... and as I know your likely to ask, what Cluster Search Engines I'm on about its these two

Why google has become all powerful and can offer many services free, Email, Office, Blogs etc is due to advertising revenue.
