Google Redirect Problem Win7

    Hello! This is a request for help in removing a Google Redirect virus.

    I have performed all the steps recommended in the sticky threads covering this, also general Windows 7 malware removal instructions. (Logs attached).

    My system is Windows 7 SP1, 64-bit. I have not observed the redirect problem in Internet Explorer, only Firefox. I have McAfee Total Protection 2013 installed and updated.

    None of the recommended malware removal tools have indicated that they have detected this virus.

    I am a seasoned PC user, and will faithfully follow your directions to get this virus FIXED!

    Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    You forgot to attach the MGlogs.zip file from MGtools.

    See if running the below resolves your problem with Firefox.

    Reset Firefox to Defaults

    Thank you!!! Since I have performed the "Reset Firefox to Defaults," the redirect problem has not occurred. I'm going to keep testing, but the preliminary news is very promising!
