I have been up all night reading the posts here and all over and I am at my wits end. I usually dont have any troubles getting rid of viruses but this one is nasty. As with others I get redirected on google searches. Plus if I try to go to bleepingcomputer.com or anything having to do with combofix, my IE closes automatically. I have run all the scan like asked in the read and run post. So I am uploading my logs. I have no idea on what to do. I noticed this last night when trying to start up D&D Online and it wouldnt start.

THank you for ALL your help!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

This does not matter any way since ComboFix will not work on Windows 2003 nor will it work with any 64 bit operating system like you have.

    Uninstall the below software:
Viewpoint Manager (Remove Only) <-- should have been uninstalled in step 1 of the READ ME

Now copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixme.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
Make sure that you tell me if you receive a success message about adding the above
to the registry. If you do not get a success message, it definitely did not work.

Then reboot into safe mode a look for and delete the below file.
    C:\WINDOWS\pyrxhnj.xwq

Also look for the below file and delete if found:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\pyrxhnj.xwq

Now apply the fixme.reg patch one more time by double clicking on it again.

    Now reboot in normal mode

Now run Ccleaner to clean out only temp files and nothing else!

Now download the current version of MGtools[/URL] and save it to your root folder. Overwrite your previous MGtools.exe file with this one.

Run MGtools.exe ( Note: If using Vista make sure UAC is still disabled. Also don't double click on it, use right click and select Run As Administrator )

    Then attach the below log:
    • C:\MGlogs.zip
Make sure you tell me how things are working now!
