Google Stumble 2

    Heard of, of course.

    Stumbled across this whilst looking for something that, at first glance, appeared completely unrelated;

    If I were to speak your kind of language, I would say that man's only moral commandment is: Thou shalt think. But a "moral commandment" is a contradiction in terms. The moral is the chosen, not the forced; the understood, not the obeyed. The moral is the rational, and reason accepts no commandments.

    Ayn Rand was pretty much an anarchist; didn't accept much of any kind of authority.

    It IS true though that "right" action that is coerced has no moral value to it. A rapist is not moral just because he's behind bars and has no opportunity to r4pe again. (Gotta love the VBulletin obscenity filters. ;))
