Google to "scroogle" users again

How much do you expect to be paid if you endorse a product? If you use Google+, the answer is nothing. Clicking "+1" may soon show your picture and details to total strangers unless you change your privacy settings:

Yes, I know Facebook is already doing this to a point with posts from your "friends." The difference is that this shares your personal info. with everyone unless you opt-out.

 

Imagine if 20 years ago you proposed that advertising companies should have access to you and your close circle of friends and know the things you like and talk about, record and store all your supermarket receipts, what books and information you look for in the library and have all this information under a picture of your ugly mug which can be published and traded.

If you throw frog into a hot pot it'll climb out but if you turn up the heat slowly it'll stay and get cooked.

 

This is the reason i got rid of google plus mainly due to that youtube connects to google + and it would not allow you to change your main name.

 

This is why I do not have my picture online. Period.

This is also why I provide very limited details about myself on Facebook. My Facebook phone number is "(555) 555-5555." :-D

 

This can be opted out of, by the way.

Facebook did something similar. It is still stupidly popular.
