Google Wave

Am hoping that this is the right forum, as this is kinda tricky, seems to be somewhere between a link and software.

Anyone read on it?? I signed up for it when it comes out, but wonder what anyone else thinks.

Seems like a tweaked out messenger. Difference being that you can share and edit files in line and then when someone joins, they can 'rewind' it to see what happened before they got there.

This could redefine group projects in a whole new way.

But I gotta say, from a geek perspective, this looks pretty cool.

Then again, I am a googlenatic anyway. (Yeah, I made that up of Google and fanatic) I love the stuff they put out. I switched from Firefox to Chrome and am loving it. I have a couple sites/pages that I need to access on a regular basis, and I use the Google Gears to make instant launch apps right on my desktop. Makes it really easy to check the bus schedule, see what's on TV and everything else I do on a daily basis.

*grin* I'm just drooling in anticipation, cause I think that Wave is going to be a real trip to use.
