goprot51.sys?

My computer has been running very slow of late, which seems odd since it's pretty new, not running Vista (got it just before Vista became standard) and has 3 GB of RAM. (It seems to be taking forever to load webpages when I only have like 3 or 4 tabs open in Firefox, and maybe am working in Word or Photoshop.)

So, I figured maybe there was some malware or something slowing it down. I did a bunch of scans with different programs (none of them came up with anything except some cookies), then downloaded the Autoruns program from Sysinternals to see if I could get rid of anything that was starting up automatically.

I was googling anything that wasn't from Microsoft or Intel, and came across the "GoProto Protocol Driver" from "Gteko Ltd." -- goprot51.sys. I can't seem to find anything definitive by googling for the filename as to whether I should be allowing this to start automatically. Help? :)

It's part of Gteko's GoProto protocol driver.

If you suspect other malware problems I would run the steps below however not every slow computer is caused from Malware.
