ad the floppy drives are sideways on mine(can't find a pic of it exactly)

I have some paper on my desk that needs to be held down.. that looks like it would do the job nicely!

he's still a young'n. . lol

when he's in his 40's the PC wold will be "burning" tiny silicon chips that store more data than any processor known to God

But those disks are magnetic. Unless you're suggesting that my floppy drive has a lazer in it as well

I let it dry out for a couple days before I plug it in
and i'll be amndab if it works
now all I need is something for it to run

I don't remember exactly
is there anything I can do without a old a$$ floppy?

JA, what are you trying to achieve ? Do you want an OS to run on this PC? Are you after 5 1/4 inch diskettes? Some forums should be able to help. Bazza

I see Kaypro II bootdisk's for 10(US)

I just want it to do something
other than sit there
I know nothing about it
no commands

I cant type anything

just the display

the last pic that I posted has a different display on the screen

JA, FOG look like they can help. Lots of programs listed on your link. You're gonna need a bootdisk to go into one floppy drive while you run programs from your other drive. You are also going to need an old parallel printer that plugs into the parallel port to print stuff out. Or an even harder to get serial printer, if no parallel port. But I would assume that you have a parallel port. Wordstar is an old word processing program, but I guess you have figured that out. First step is to get a bootdisk with the OS. Bazza
