Got Snow?

Oh boy, beers are tasting good tonight.

Cleared out the snow and its time to relax...

 

warmed up into the 70's last few days here (california) nice to be able to get some yard work done. Nope no snow

 

We received 42 inches of snow, just in February and a total of 102 inches so far this year.

You sure know how to hit below the belt! LOL

In Grand Rapids, we've beaten the February snow record that was set in 1919. They figure this'll be the 6th snowiest winter ever as well.

I don't have pictures...I don't want to remember. I did, however, quite thoroughly enjoy the last two days with NO SNOW. Shoot, on Sunday I actually walked outside without zipping my coat up!

 

Sure looks like you got more snow when you have a Chihuahua, actually those pics are from Jan. We have about the same as you. I'm enjoying the heck out of it. I picked up two snowmobiles this year.

I also use them to pack the snow down in the backyard so my dog can do her thing without sinking in (she's a low squatter).

No, Darlene. If you mean the pic of the lake, that's a stitched together pic using the software that came with my camera. It's actually about 6 photos put together. (I didn't even use the tripod, just shot a series)

 

Yep.... got snow here.... right in the "Lake Effect" area of Lake Michigan! (Northern Indiana) And yes, my dog did have snow blown paths so she could go out and take car of her business!

 

Here's a pic of my friend from my computer room window which is about 9 feet above ground level.:eek Looks like we could beat our record for snow this year as we've gotten 130 inches so far and 24 inches more would beat the record set in March '71. Montreal was shut down for a week then! Oh, looks like we'll get another good one this weekend.

The snow contractors are really hurting this year what with the high gas prices and the frequency of the snowfalls.

That's weird as it's hosted on imageshack.:confused The link works fine for me. Maybe a nasty got into your machine.

@ Laura,
He gave us a scare last night. He has been harassing the cat and got scratched under the eye. There was lots of yelping and blood, but it turned out to just a small cut. My wife and I were both running around with first aid stuff and thinking about the animal hospital. LOL
Now I know how my mom felt when I came home dripping blood. :eek

We don't think the cat meant to hurt him, because he has been declawed (the front ones) and he does have a tendency to kick out with the back when playing. Other than that the pup has taken to exploring the back yard and climbing the snow banks in the picture.

I heard on the radio a couple of days ago that now they are worrying about "Global Cooling"...LOL

 

Hahaha, well he is a ladies man as you can see his Latino looks, they just fawn all over him.
