gpedit.msc

    ok for all of you fammiliar with this. is there a way to prevent other administrators from accesseing this. so if i want to limit stuff using it and not alow anyone else to use it how do i do this

    When part of the Administrator-group then one is able to change permissions on the local machine, so any attempts to block access can be removed by them. And since the gpedit.msc is protected by Windows File Protection, then I don't think you can hide it much. Instead consider making the other "administrators" power users.

    Or consider to use Active Directory and make yourself Domain-Administrator (Level above Local Administrator) and have the machines login to the Active Directory. It should force the policies in the Active Directory instead of the ones defines by gpedit.msc on the local machine.
