Interested in purchasing a GPS for my autos; Looking at Garmin 350 and Tom Tom XL now--- Anyone has an opinion what to purchase?

    Thanks,

    :)

I don't know about the two that you mentioned, but I think a general way to think is that The GPS is going to get you where you want to go the fastest and shortest way it can. I've been on trips guided by a GPS that took you from Interstate to dirt and back down the Interstate. All I mean is that it's not driving, and it doesn't care where you have to. If you've seen the movie "Cars" where the two tourists drive through Bikini Bottom, or whatever it's called.. Wait, "Radiator Springs" and end up locking the doors, it's going to be like that from time to time. Don't get me wrong, they're amazing. They can get you about anywhere. I've driven past Junk "Salvage" yards and looked at it, and it showed the paths between the cars as little dirt roads.. It was odd. Good luck
