    It's a good feeling.:)

Glad to be done with high school, too much stress with all that I had going on, I learned my lesson...I hope. I'm glad to have more freedom now; it will be much easier to breathe. Of course this also means getting a job but if it's at a place I like I'll be fine. I'm ready.

hopefully I'll get photos sooner or later.

btw...feels like yesterday that I came here worried that I wouldn't get into the high school I wanted. funny, huh?

Thanks everyone :) *hugs hugs hugs!*

I do mean a part-time job though, I'll be attending college of course. Can't wait to start studying what I really want to learn!

Actually maybe you guys can help me with this. I want to do something with language. The Portuguese language, to be more exact. I've heard several ideas, but they're all pretty general...do any of you have more information about HOW I can get a job with that? So far I've liked the idea of working with immigration, or being a translator (but of course, that's general...translator for whom? the government? do you suggest working with the government? hah hah...) And I'm staying away from economics. Not for me.

Congrats LLC. I didn't really appreciate high school until I got old enough to look back. However, I did acheive my full potential in college because like you said, I was studying what I wanted.

You could consider being a translator for the U.N., or maybe find something with an international shipping or law firm with european contacts.

Good luck with whatever you choose.

Yeah, school is so useless I could be at Wal-Mart instead of NASA.

Good for you Maria, with your smarts there's gonna be little you can't do. :)

Portuguese... only things that come to mind are various forms of translation, probably with government or U.N, either verbal or written, or both. Possibly in the corporate world, but government bodies seem more likely. Best of luck at whatever you choose. :)

Sorry about that, you know the closer we get to a launch the more intense my schedule gets. We'll try calling soon, just trying to spend what free time I can manage with Abby, and planning out some changes and moves and such. We'll be in touch soon.

I forgot, everybody that's finished school wants to, or works for NASA.

School should prepare you for what life has in store.

For the vast majority, advanced maths, Trigonometry and Pythagoras Theorem has no relevance apart from keeping maths teachers employed.

    Anyway........
