Just installed a Nvidia Fuzion GeForce MX 4000 Graphics card (PCI slot) on my computer running Windows 2000 Pro Service Pack 4, 256mb RAM. Used add/remove programs to uninstall other video cards/drivers. Can only start my computer in safe mode or VGA mode. When I try to start it normally it won't get pass the windows 2000 startup screen. The error message on my computer in startup mode says 'The file i8lxnts.sys' on intel(R) 810/810e/815 Chipset Graphics driver 5.12.01.2641 needed. Then it says to type the path where the file is located. I downloaded and ran the installation for that driver off of the hp website, even though the computer is a dell, it had the right driver number. But the same message appears. I don't know where driver installation is stored on the computer, in case I need to search for it. I already installed the drivers for the new Geforce graphics card from the disk, Maybe I got rid of the above driver when I used add/remove programs? Under device manager/video I have lised 1. Intel(R) 82815 graphics controller 2. Nvidia Riva TNT2 Model 64 and the newly installed video card. The original objective to get this Video card installed and working, but still boot up normally, thanks.
