Download Winzip. If you did already, reinstall it, sounds like file associations for zip got changed, a lazy quick way is to reinstall your zip program restoring zip associations to that file.

Another means of restoring file associations - assuming you're using WinXP:

    1) open up a folder, any folder will do.
    2) click on tools/folder options.
    3) select the tab 'file types'
    4) scroll down the list, once populated, till you find extension 'ZIP'.
    5) If the program that opens zip files is not as it should be, there's a button in the window labeled 'change...' next to the 'opens with' item. click it.
    6) In the 'Open With' dialog that should open, simply scroll down the list until you find winzip, or your appropriate zip utility and select it.
    - If the program is not listed for some reason, click the 'browse...' button and find it on your computer.
    - If still not found, then it's possible the program is not installed. install it.
    7) Click 'OK' and so on and it should all be set now.

    EVEN QUICKER WAY:
    --------------------
heh, after writing all that i realized two even quicker ways to change the associations :)

    1) Find a zip file, any zip file will do.
    2) right click the file and select the option, 'Open with' and it's submenu item 'choose program...'
    3) this will bring you to the same dialogue mentioned in step 6 above. Follow the instruction of 6 onward above.

If you can't find a zip file?! Then assuming you have file extensions viewable...

    1) right-click anywhere on your desktop and select the option 'new' and for the submenu item, anything really, but maybe we'll go with 'text document' to make sure there are no slip ups.
    2) give the file a name, but change the extension from .txt to .zip
    3) now you can follow the instructions of the previous directions.

    Hope that helps you ;)
