A couple free 3D rendering programs.

Color Cop Free and most accurate color picker IMO...selected color automatically placed in memory so you just need to paste it into whatever program you are using.

Are you interested in program add-ons also? Like filters/plugins, etc. that work with paint shop pro, photoshop etc? I have links to hundreds of them that I use on a regular basis....some free, some shareware.

Thanks Kodo I can give Tim tons of links cuz I use so much graphics stuff every day...one of the reasons I'm struggling with a full hard drive

You might want to add Softimage XSI Mod Tool. It's a fully featured professional 3D program, which was used to create Half Life 2! The "Mod Tool" being a slightly limited version which does not allow you to render, but you can export your models, most notably to the programs used to make maps in HL2. You can of course export models to other 3D programs and use them to render if you so wish.

Very nice program it is, I'm using it to create all of the models in my machinima film using HL2.

All of the below work in most major graphics programs (Corel, Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, PhotoImpact & some even work with Irfanview) These are the more popular ones that are widely used..some freeware, some shareware (demo's), All of which I use on a regular basis and wouldn't be without

Flaming Pear Demos and Freeware!

Filters Unlimited Import hundreds of filters/plugins for use without bogging down your graphics program. Shareware. This program put a stop to lock-ups and crashes with my graphics programs from having so many filters/plugins in use. I'm able to have everything right there and no need to be moving things in and out of my program then having to close and re-open my program so things will load.

Artistic-Effects

AutoFX Create Awesome effects with all of these.

Ulead Software PhooImpact is comparable to paint shop pro and photoshop. Also familiar with to many others on this site to count *blush* Don't have them all installed right now due to full HD but if you have any questions ask away

Alien Skin I use all of these (including older versions of Eye Candy and Xenofex which give different results)...awsome add-ons!

Kai's Power Tools Another package that extends your creativity.

Virtual Painter is really kewl!

Awesome free filters (I use them all) Site also has other add-ons, some free some for purchase.

oops...Thought we already had Xnview here for download but we don't. Similar to Irfanview, I use both as Xnview supports some image format that Irfanview doesn't and vise versa.

Also a handy little add on for PSP users...PSP Thumbnail Handler (2 versions for different OS)

Image Analyser Enhance & analyze.

Tux Paint Great for kids! (I had fun with it)

Art Rage Paint on a canvas, neat proggie but I suck at freehand drawing.

Pixia Used to use this along with Gimp before I purchased higher end software.

Liquid Icon Create icons, cursors, etc. on a transparent background.
