Ok I recently did a scan using AVG and then Avast4, AVG didnt pick anything up but when i scanned with Avast 4 it picked up the following infected files:

    Win:32 Trojano-1269

    Win:32 Adan-078

My question is, do i put these infected files in the "vault" or do i delete them? I have never really had to deal with this kind of thing before. I am currently using Windows XP Service Pack 2.

On another note, now my AVG seems to be picking up a virus as well, I am hearing alarms all over the place. So far i have been healing all of these files or placing them in the vault but I am not sure on what to do with those two infected files at the top.

Ok I have also detected the following infected files and have "vaulted" them. I did this using AVG. I noticed something was wrong yesterday when XP alerted me of internal activity behind my firewall. Am i supposed to "vault" these files or delete them?

    Trojanhorsedownloader.agent.13.av
    Trojanhorseclicker.fr
    Trojanhorseclicker.bsg
    Trojanhorsegeneric.qqw

I am almost certain that this originated from a file I downloaded off Soulseek yesterday, because that is when i started noticing internal activity. The first thing i did was sweep out all of the spyware using Spyrobot.

Am i supposed to "vault" these infected files or delete them?

You should delete infected files as long as you are sure they are true problems. If unsure, moving them to a vault is a way to avoid possibly deleting something you need by mistake. After a few days of putting things in a vault you should then know whether you needed them or not.

Note: If you have multiple antivirus applications installed, decide which one you want and uninstall ALL but one.
