    Yes! Abri already answered that.

Select that action when the time comes. Make sure you do not let it Ignore problems.

See message number 6 in the below thread to see a snapshow of how selecting Quarantine looks.

that was a double post sorry.
i cant exactly report back with the best news becuase
    1) i have bitdefender as my virus scanner
    2) i cannot run it in safemod
    3) internet connection keeps d/cing so often i have to redownload or anything related to internet is interupted or takes a millenia to load (if it does)
    4) i couldnt update the bd online scanner possibly due to the net d/cing, i scanned and it found nothing.
    5) i didnt manage to scan with panda active scan (note i did these normal mode as even thought i`m an adsl user i cannot connect in safe mod with net etc..)

i was thinking of reformating and mybe the net connection problem will be gone and i could do everything then. i have almost followed your instructions to the letter. mybe i screwed up when i accidently ran either ccleaner or counterspy after i installed.

We did not ask you to run BitDefender AntiVirus. We only asked you to run Bitdefender OnlineScan which now say you had a problem with. Also the READ ME does say, if you cannot run things in safe mode, run them in normal boot mode. If you cannot run the online scans due to your problem (which may not be malware) then just skip the two online scans for now.

Did you mean I did manage

That's your decision but many people don't realize everything involved in doing this. Here is a blurb I wrote about this.

A new install involves more than you may think. Especially to get back to a level of where you system is at. You have to consider all of the below:
    • you have to backup all you own data, settings, configurations etc and first you have to know what/where all of these are. And you have to have the medium (burnable media, second hard drive, tape drive [yuck] )
    • then you must make sure you have the necessary disks to reinstall not just your OS but all other software you use especially protection before going online
    • then fdisk, format, reinstall the OS
    • now reinstall all your software especially protection
    • get online (requires some setup and config that novices have problems with)
    • download updates for OS
    • download updates for protection software
    • download updates for all other software
    • tweak all software back the way you like it. Including Desktop settings, icons etc.
    • create all the folders that you use for everything in your normally routines
    • re-load from your backups to get data back, to get settings, Favorites,.....etc back
    • now over the next two weeks you will realize that you forgot to backup some stuff and also you will keep finding something else that you need to reinstall.
Until you post all the logs I cannot give that much feed back.

By the way this is the first time you mentioned what your problem was but you still have not explained it in detail. It may not be malware.

i didnt ran any bitdefender AV program scans when i started following the cleaning thread,

****NOTE**** DO NOT INSTALL Bitdefender's Antivirus program. Make sure you follow the directions below and run the ONLINE SCANNER only.

Its the AV i currently have installed so i kind of break this rule

I managed to run the BD online scan however when it tried to update i get disconnected.

    -

pandascan didnt manage to scan my pc, it kept telling me to re-try

    -

My problem is this. try to bear with me its hard to explain.
I have a very unstable internet connection very often it disconnects.
Pages take a VERY long time(i have to keep refreshing) to load, sometimes they dont even load.
My net connection programs also shows me how much i have sent and recieved in my current session and from it i`m seeing that from just staying online 12mins i have recieved 1.82265949 megabytes, all i opened was this forum and another forum.
Also my pc is slower than should be and its time for a reformat anyway, i havent reformated since i got this pc and thats roughly a year.
I dont remember exactly what i was doing but it seems that my 1st partition which had roughly 2gb free previously had filled up and i had practically a few mb left. even when i went to defragment it, i couldnt because suddenly it had filled up and i had 0% left (those few mb)
Also when i right clicked and checked the properties on a few files in the c drive their statistics on how much space left, how many files etc.... increased until it stopped (i assume it stopped at the correct amount)(you know like a scanner, it will show scanned files and that number will increase until it reaches the right amount.) This was supposed to show how much files i had, how much space was occupied etc.. instantaneously.

Note i have 2 partitions. one small one which i keep everything but games on and my big one which i keep games on

Also bit defender detected application.LSP in the Zonealarm directory.
    I have Zone Alarm
    bitdefender v10
    A squared
    spybot

BTW i appreciate all of the help, thxs a bundle

Much of this still may or may not be malware. Until you post the logs that have been requested we cannot help you any further. I know you had problems with BitDefender & Panda, but you need to attach the below logs or we cannot continue:
    • CounterSpy
    • GetRunKey
    • ShowNew
    • HijackThis

It was discussed and all this could possible be on the ISP side.
Internet seems to have stabilised so i`m not sure if it IS malware.
first of all i want to change my AV (its bitdefender v10) which do you personally think i should get? (i read the other threads related to malware and AV`s but i`d like an opinion if its not to much)

Everything we recommend is in the below link. AVG would be a good choice for an an AV. Make sure you do not install any other AV until BitDefender is completely uninstalled.
