great web hosting services for free?

hello, im looking for a FREE web hosting services...like Yahoo! GeoCities free webhost verison but they only have 15mb space ;/ is there better out there?

 

nvm i found a great site about them http://www.free-webhosts.com/ but can someone tell me how to upload file like .zip or .rar than can download it form another computer online?? (sorry im computer noob...)

 

The vast majority of free hosts will not allow you to upload a zip or rar and use thier servers as a file host. If you want to have a public or private file depository your probably going to have to pay. Although yahoo offers a "briefcase" service with 30mb of storage for free, with that you can just upload files and download them elsewhere. If you have a yahoo ID just go to briefcase.yahoo.com otherwise go to yahoo.com and sign up for an ID first.
