I hope I am posting this in the right area- but I couldn't find another more suitable forum.
After installing AVG Anti-Virus I notice that it will add the "certification tag" to e-mails sent and received in "Plain Text", but not in "HTML".
Any way to get around this.
I have been communicating with Grisoft Tech, but mostly going around in circles.

    Thanks

The AVG certification tag line guarantees absolutely nothing and this is probably true for many antivirus applications. You should be more concerned about whether it is truly scanning the email and attachments to make sure they are clean. You could test this using a test file like this: http://www.rexswain.com/eicar.html

The actual certification tag being added only serves as free advertising for their business. And is a waste of bandwidth.

In direct answer to you question, no I do not know how to get the tag added to HTML formatted email but you have already read my opinion on its usefulness.
