    Greeting fellow Geekathonians,
Does anyone have any experience playing with the bootloader GRUB?
I'm installing Suse and on a second HDD (let's call this HD2) that I put in my XP machine. I want to make as few changes as humanly possible to the HDD with XP on it (HD1). In light of this, I figured I could make HD2 the master HDD and install GRUB and Suse to it.
So far, that seems to have worked out since GRUB and Suse both run fine. The only problem is that it won't boot XP on HD1.
Looking around online, I've found the code I need to put in to GRUB to make that work, but I can't open the file I need to make the needed changes.
    Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hi otaku244
What's the name of the file that you need to modify? In my dual boot, system, I use the Windows NT loader to select either Windows or Linux. My GRUB boot loader is installed on the Linux root partition instead of via the MBR. This way, if I need to repair my Windows installation, it's a much simpler matter.

    The filepath is root/boot/grub/menu.lst
I found the my instructions here: http://www.oculon.org/hijinx/linux/grub.htm
But that Windows loader sounds like a good idea as well. How do you load it?
