guess i screwed up big time

i was trying to overclock switched from auto and set everything to its lowest when i rebooted my screen is black can't get to safe mode or post screen or anything it just stays black. amd athlon 3200+ asus an8-sli premium 2 nvidea geforce 6800gt pcie cards x-fi platinum sound windows xp sp2 any idea what i screwed up?

 

Reset the cmos on your board & see how that goes.

 

so simple when you know what your doing. from now on i'll just change 1 thing at a time. thank you very much you guys are awesome

 

As the Hipster says "Reset CMOS"
Then when you try to boot go directly into BIOS, set Time & Date etc than save & exit


It's better to Take small steps than Big Friggen Leaps.


If you have to ask what anyone thinks you screwed up, you probably shouldnt OC
Plus you didnt provide much info so the only thing anyone could do is Guess

You should first do some research on the subject, it will probably save you time & bunch of money
