Guide to installing a second Windows™ Installation

Has this ever happened to you before?
You have important files on your HDD, then your Windows installation fails. Well, you need to get those files, so you spend hundreads of dollars at Geek Squad Data Recovery. Why? Wouldn't it be easier to do it the zDawg32 way?

REQUIRED: Windows Install CD, 1gb extra HDD space

STEPS:
1) Put in your CD, and boot to it [link, techpaul]
2) Press Enter as if installing
3) When asked to format, DON'T!!!!
4) When asked to install to a different folder, use anything. I.E. zDawg32 (I am going to assume that zDawg32 is the selected folder)
5) Let it install.
6) When you get up to user name, make something DIFFERENT than any existing users. (Let's assume Zack)

You will have access your files now.

YOU NOW HAVE 2 OPTIONS!

If you want to keep it the way it is, and remove the choices, use this explanation:

If you want to reinstall Windows, use this explanation:
1) BACK UP YOUR FILES!!!! THEY WILL BE GONE FOREVER AFTER THIS!! AFTER YOU PUT THEM ON A FLASH DRIVE OR CD, DOUBLE CHECK THAT THEY ARE
2) Put in your CD, and boot to it [link, techpaul]
3) Press Enter as if installing
4) When asked to format, select NTFS (NOT QUICK!!!)
5) Let it install.
6) Restore your backed up files.
