hack for portable command prompt

    OK, got the portable command prompt for my USB stick. I tried to edit the properties like I do on my installed version with win7, changes don't stick. :(

    In the Data directory, you can edit the commandprompt bat file.

    Changing the title is straight forward.
    To get the green text on black background I played around 'till this did the trick:

    color 22
    Other number combos yield different results.

    I amuse me...

    The default command prompt can also use the command "color a" to just change text to green without modifying the background. You can also use the command "title n" with n as a title value, and you can say "echo off" to remove the prompt with the current directory from being returned each time you press enter. You could probably apply these to stick in your batch file if you needed to.
