    Dear Professional:

Each time I get this message "Hacked by 8BITS" when I go online; it is next to a web page address/title on top left hand corner of my computer screen, where this microsoft explorer icon is in this blue bar; I use Microsoft XP. :confused I've had this problem at least a month. What can I do to get rid of this error? Thank you.

    Hi jjbusiness,

Does it appear when your startpage opens? Or is it there regardless of whether you are at your start page or some other webpage? It's possible the website you use as your start page has been hacked.

If you go through our standard cleaning procedures, we can give you more information about this problem and about whether your computer is infected by looking at your logs.
