Hacked, monitored ...keylogger ?? Help

Hi guys. I have a problem. Someone installed a keylogger to a cyber-friend I have. The guy who did it recorded our MSN and AIM conversations , this were saved as .rtf files. He told her she had a keylogger but from what I understand this programs only work one way and this files had everythin I typed too. Also a conversation I was having with someone else at the same time with my other MSN user name was recorded by him too. I just makes no sense, I dont know if he infected my pc too so I restored my system a left all my files in disks for now. I dont think he used a keylogger to intercept this conversations?...any ideas what this person could've done to do record this conversations? . By the way the logs look pretty much the same as how conv. are saved by MSN.

Hey D3m3nt3d , thnx for answering, it's kind of hard to find anythin now in my system since i reinstalled windows and pretty much everythin is fresh new, my old personal files are in disks . I was just wonderin if there are hacking programs that can do what i described. He told her that since I was connected to her ip through the chat program , he intercepted my other conversations....I just cant figure it out....
