Hacker Claims They Have Video

    I get this email. this morning that I've been recorded and they've been watching me for months and have compromising video. They claim I have a Trojan Virus and they have full control. So I ran the malware cleanup process. Can someone look at my logs and tell me if my computer has been compromised?

    I figured it was a scam, I'm was more concerned about access to the data...

    It’s scaremongering. I doubt they have video/proof unless you have malware on your system which records you watching videos.

    Yeah, I have got one of those as well. I don't even have a cam connected to my PC. Do a malware/virus scan if that helps you feel safe. My money is they have nothing other than your email address.
