Major Geeks doesn't support the uploading of .ppp files. When you hit Manage Attachments to upload a file, it lists all the file extensions you can use.

You become a senior member when you hit 100 posts :)

Over 100 posts = 'Senior Member'.

If I remember correctly, you may not be able to attach files in Power Point format.

.ppt files can contain macros/vbscript and as such are a potential security risk. You will probably find you cannot attach any form of office file.

Lev must have posted at the same time as me (or a second earlier), LoL! ;)

Strangly enough Matt, you can do MS Word .doc files, see some HJT logs attached in that format.

Maybe it's a "size" thing...some people write .ppt files over 400 slides, you know ;)

Ricky, I don't never tried to zip a pps i could give it a try. But it sounds like it's probably not a good idea to post it.

I know... total final count was 452 slides ( and 325mb in size ), I'm going to break that one up this week into sections as it on a slow PC would take over 10mins to open :(

Dan if its scanned and virus free on your PC, zipping it woudl be fine I guess, still their is a limit to zipped file sizes too of 600kb.

    It is halo.

The file in the zip folder is fine. Its a pps file (not ppt) so is only viewable as a show but it seems safe enough.

Talking of heart massage and CPR BLS, not vastly impressed with my workplace who teased me with the defib equipment in our annual training re-fresher sessions, I wanted to test the paddles out on one of my collegues ........... Charging >>>>>>>>> CLEAR *KerPOW* :D

But in seriousness this is really good info to know even though it gets mixed results from the Pros http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/blcpr.htm
