It strikes me time and time again when I see mission pics and footage on TV how open and willing to interact the people of lesser priveledged countries are. They have such limited materilization around them yet they still smile. Sometimes makes me wonder if we would smile more if we had less of 'things' and more of each other.

Brings to mind the lyrics of a Sheryl Crowe song..... "it's not having what you want...it's wanting what you got".

What a wonderful cause my friend. I used to work with a wetlands biologist that did the same type work in Belize. I would love to do something like that someday.

These people, who have literally nothing, appear to be more content in life than those of us who have "everything" compared to them. It is truly a sad testament to our society and what we hold dear. Thanks for the kind comments and for dropping by.
