halo installation and network problems

Hey when i try to install halo it says "setup failed to extract files from E:\FilesCab\Cab2.CAB. This is most likely caused by low memory(low disk space for swapping file)or acorrupted cabinet file. Please restart your machine and run setup again". Any help?
also when i try to get into some/most internet games it says something like "wrong cerial code" or "your cerial code is invalid". Also any help?
Plz fellas it's urgent!

Have you checked to see if your Halo CD is scratched?

also if you are having Serial Code issues then contact the company http://support.microsoft.com/halocombat?sid=1514 look under Troubleshooting - Setup for the two issues you are having for the answers

That may well be BUT your not 100% sure are you, so we try to give the benefit of doubt until proven, which is why the link I provided addresses those particular issues

Now when i try to download the update to multilayer gameplay in halo i download it fine but when i try to play halo again i have my halo disc in but it still says plz insert your halo cd disk. Any help?

Ok, I'm just going to be direct and ask due to the suspiciousness of the last post.

Is this a burned CD?

Halo Custom Edition requires a legitimate CD key.
