Hanging

After i put in my password, my comp hangs for about 4 min & 2 sec(stop watch) until my desktop finallly loads. i dont know if its because i deleted elitesud32.exe confusing it with the elitebar(which i cant get rid of) or because i downloaded object dock and object desktop which has bin giving me problems, i dont know what is really causing the problem, or what to do

 

PLZ Help....I dont know what the problem is, it seems to work perfectly fine when im in safe mode but i cant play my games in safe so i really want to get this fixed

 

Valic, systems running slowly is almost always caused by malware. As you have said you have elitebar and can't get rid of it. it seems my spybot got rid of it now but i still have that hanging, for somereason i think its a program i have on my comp but mayb not, i dont kno what to do

 

I'd still follow what Shadow_Puter_Dude suggests. As in post in the spyware forum, after following these instructions:

Have you installed any new hardware or drivers? What chip set are you using? The nVidia neo2 and neo4s have this problem. I got rid of my hang(4+ mins.) by upgrading the bios. Try going to RUN type-> msconfig->ok, under the general tab put the dot in the diagnostic startup tab,->apply->ok. Reboot,if it doesn't hang then it is probably user software or driver related.

 

i know i havnt posted in a while but i had bigger problems that im trying to fix but thanx im finally getting closer to the problem with the hanging, after i did what you told me, then i narrowed it down did some process of elimination and came to the conclusion that its in the services choices, i just dont know which one because theres so many

i dont know what i did but i did the normal start up thing and it seems to boot fine now but i hope i didnt mess up anything
