I did some research and I believe the problem is Hanging. I went through the search but could not find an answer. I tend to believe that this problem started when I installed the programs for Verizon Broadband. I did notice someone posted about a possible memory issur or a CPU problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Need to know exactly what the problem is .....what the symptoms are ....what you're doing when it happens, etc.
    Os?
    Ram?
    Etc.

The problem seems to happen more when I have a lot of web pages open. But at times it can happen when I try to open one page or load just one program. Many times web pages or programs load real slow. Things seem to go better if I double click? instead of single click?! I have gotten low memory alerts or I see the icon for the processor. Maybe I just need to increase the virtual memory. I do get messages from Microsoft that the problem is with the Yahoo browser. I just don't know how a browser problem could affect loading a program like spybot? By the way, I forgot how to incrrease the virtual memory.
    Thank you in advance!

Right click my computer .... propeties .... advanced ....performance ...will take you to virtual memory settings ...1 and 1/2 times your ram is what's recommended.
You might want to get rid of the yahoo stuff.....

Certainly .... look at the "Top freeware picks" on the MG's home page .... Foxfire or Opera 9 ,,,, both very good browsers.... Microsoft IE is still too vulnerable in my mind.
