    Thank you everyone! Had a great day yesterday :) Today we traveled down to Portland from Seattle via Jimi Hendrix's Memorial. Boys are now messing around in the hotel pool. We are kicking back with the whisky ;)

    Funny how things pan out right? We had a great time in Seattle...took the monorail downtown and back, and off it went back downtown again after dropping us off...and this happened http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/376260_monorail24.html It was pretty hot inside when we were in there as the a/c was defective. Glad we didn't get caught so many feet up in the air for 90 minutes awaiting rescue!

    Yesterday my boys flew back to the UK, with one connection to make in Chicago. They have always had the unaccompanied minor service because of that and their age, but this return trip we decided they should figure it out themselves - no hand holding by airline staff. So off they went. Today THIS happened http://online.wsj.com/article/SB121977920623073725.html?mod=googlenews_wsj Chicago was badly hit by it all and they would have been stranded at the airport bored out their brains.

    These things usually live out in 3's for me so I'm excited to see what the next near miss is :-D
