Only if it comes with a sweet good looking woman inside. I've got two large drawers full of sweaters given to me over the years that I never wear. Should give them to Goodwill. But thanks for the thought.

And thank you all for your good wishes. Still recovering from yesterday's chemo; will likely spend most of the day in bed, or at least on the couch, but that's better than working, which I'd be doing otherwise, so I'm considering this dose of chemo a birthday present. Neighbor has hinted at making dinner for me tonight. Knowing them, they probably will. Good folks next door. And here too.

 

I'm always late being on the west coast, but that doesn't mean I don't wish you a fantastic happy birthday...lots of rest and lots of cake

 

LMAO...ya know...with the vast 1-800 directory out there I bet that could be arranged!

Oh! Oh! Do you have ANY idea how people like me LOVE raiding stores like goodwill for sweaters? You can find the most amazing sweaters to recycle. Store bought sweaters are made from yarn blends and in colors that crocheters and knitters can't buy. If I find a sweater in a yarn I really like (size, mens or womens doesn't matter!) and the seams are sewn instead or surged I can buy it for a couple dollars, bring it on home, wash it and proceed to take it apart. Roll all that luscious yarn into balls and voilà! I'm good to go..as long as there was actually a tag in the sweater and I didn't mistakenly get something that has wool in it. *shudder* LOL

Just rest up and enjoy your day as best you can Gary. I'd be willing to bet you'll get dinner from your neighbors too and if you don't..there are 800 numbers for that too! lol

Thanks all. Pretty good day considering. Still pretty tired and a little bit punchy, but my neighbors had me over for dinner and most of the evening, which sure beat staying home alone. And that's about all the excitement I could have stood anyway, so it worked out perfectly.

Just West Yorkshire this time. Bradford was a dump, as always. The rest was sublime. Hiking the moors is my favourite thing to do.
