I'm sorry it wasn't great, Barry. But Happy Birthday anyway. You never know, something could come up that turns it around, but even if it doesn't, know that we here are glad you keep having more of them. :grouphug

Awww, don't say that man.

 

Well, cancer relapse; pneumonia for five months; Stage 1 Leukemia, etc., have not made me a happy camper.
Fine, I know stuff happens, but I just get worn ragged by all the user-uppers in the world, (well, mine anyway). You guessed it. It's always those that receive the most that appreciate the least. That is what I find most depressing.
Of course, I'm in the Poor-House, paying for it all. Yeah, I'm insured, but there's always that 'Gap', isn't there?

I've always had the utmost respect for y'all and I guess that's more than I can say for most, ( but not all), people I know.

Two courses of I.V. Chemo, (lasts about 7 weeks, each). Finished that a while back, (Sept), but then those necrotic ulcers on the legs healed and sprouted up all over my face, (nearly healed).
The Leukemia bit is inevitable with my type of Sarcoma, but is classified as 'treatable' as Stage 1 Leukemia is. Just means that it's progressed to the blood stream (Metastasis), since the problem occurred in the bone marrow, which, as ya know makes the blood cells, so I'm screwed, anyway.
I did blow a kidney, (again, sigh), on Thursday night, so I am still sore. I hate peeing blood.

So yeah, Chemo, pills, pills, pills. The Steroids nearly killed me, so they're out, (internal bleeding from just about everywhere for a while).

Other than that, life is just Rosey!!....:-D

Your, (as well as everyone's), positive thoughts do actually mean plenty to me. I have no family anymore, and as pathetic as it may sound, you guys are about the nearest thing for the last twelve years.

Life is weird. I had "6 months" to live 25 years ago. Then I was supposedly cured. Then last year, my old foe came back. Guess it never really left for sure. So anyway, blah, blah, blah, and slowly trying to make another comeback.
Of course, most people I know are just disappointed that they have to wait longer to get my stuff.:-D
Kidneys are in a world of pain again, today, but hey, I survived another trip around the Sun, lol.

Last but not least in thought my friend. Belated by far, and yet if you had gotten the snail mail card I'd have been early by that much more. Yeah, tell about it. "Old '55, (LoL!) Apparently, according to the Docs., I have the bone density of an eighty year old, a.t.m.
Then again, just to see what other people think. I asked several female Store owners when I was shopping, (that kinda know me), to take a guess of how old they thought I was. 45 was the nearest guess. Some were thinking I was about 40. LoL!....That was long, long ago.Ha!

 

Hope you had a fantastic birthday. Dunno about you, but I stopped counting after my 21st . . .
