    Hi Folks.

    Thanks for the birthday wishes.
I've been a long time away from here. Not really sure why, there's probably a diagnosis for what goes on in my head, something to do with trying to respond to posts and being unable:confused(Maybe like writers block? Only stupider).
I was very ill with an infection in my neck last summer. UNBELIEVABLE PAIN! C3 and C4 vertebrae and the disk between them have been partially eaten away by bacteria. I'm a half inch shorter now. Massive amounts of IV antibiotics and assorted pills and a hundred xrays and MRIs etc. Then a blood clot formed in my arm from the IV PICC line they installed in me. Three months of rat poison for that. I've been off all the drugs since New Years including the oxycodone, (which wasn't unpleasant). I've still got some of them left. Not sure what to do with them.
So nine months in and I'm left with a sore neck and tingly spots in my arm...all things considered I think that's pretty good.

Thanks again. I'll hang out more:)

Glad you had a good Birthday, man!:).
Yeah, Wharfrin aint good at so many levels. My friend is on 4x max. dose to keep a Titanium Aortic Valve free.:(
Myself similar thing. Had 2 lower vertebre fused with a wedge from my Iliac, (largest bone, etc.). Now I'm 3cm shorter :(. But I'm still 6', much to the annoyance of the g/f, whose about 5'10", LOL

Hey Sibeer, always good to hear from you and sorry to hear that you going through a tough time, I guess we all go through them at times, but back pains.... ouch as I have had them myself, luckily ok now! but know how debilitating they can be, but hope you are doing not so bad now.
