Yay i was wondering wether i would get a bday post in here so i checked. My 16th and not long till i get my licence. I better find an umbrella scince i think i will have more ballons than i know what to do with lol. You will just see this thundercloud of baloons coming down the halls lol. I love ice cream cake too!

Wow I make you guys look old! haha. Well rikky btw, in a few months after drivers ed in school here in the US i can get on the road....sorta because we have somthing called a learners permit (Dont know if there issued in the UK so dont take this offensively) where i can drive but i must have someone with a valid drivers licence in the vehicle with me and i can only drive at certain times of the day. Only thing is i cant till the summer because i dont start drivers ed until my next semester of school and my bday is in the end of the third one go figure . But anyway yes i am enjoying myself, i have a party next week. Really has been a nice day. Oh btw scince i take Italian class i figure i would tell you all how to say happy birthday in italian. It is buon compleanno. I really think a birthday forum should be started and insomniac should be administrator and have is avatar name changed to "the birthday man". lol. Thank you everyone.

Yay i got some presents from my family today for my bday party (the family one). One of which was a dvd and I received a new laptop from my loving grandmom and parents so im happy. Let you know the gift results as they come in.

We do to you have to be 17 though,for a scooter at 16 you just need to drive around some cones and your good to go

A laptop sweet ,my gran gave me a tenner in a card and I'd do healclicks all the way down to the comp store for a new amiga game

Thank you shadow. Hey insom i dunno about adoption. But i am enjoyig the new computer, everything is cleaned off and i am set up. Now just to figure out how to get my old computer to stop acting crazy so i can get it going for my sister....whole other story right there. Anyway yeah the highlight of the night was when my mom's cousin came to visit and she has a bunch of little kids and she meant to wrap a present but forgot to put the present in the bag probably somthin happend with one of them, or she was just so busy she did it without thinking lol. It was funny but im still happy with what i got. Well its late and i gottas finish my rounds on the net. C ya

About the only pressies I get, is the ones I have to buy myself - not the same, some how, LoL! As long as I don't get my car ripped off again this year for my birthday, I'll be relatively happy with nuthin', ROFL!

 

Lol. Yeah i am happy with what i got. Only thing i miss from my old desktop are the speakers cause i had some really good sound on that and now i got little speakers that are no where near as great as they were. I can probably easily fix that problem with headphones though. But thank you all for the bday wishes . BTW: the computer i got is a toshiba Satallite M65 with windows media center edition. Well i will see you all later.

Wow really i had a feeling they would be a good name. Actually i think they all chipped in for it and my dad was the one who picked it out. But i am very grateful for it and enjoy it . And the really nice part is that the laptop recovery disks are on a cd! That is the way they should be instead of this loaded to hd crap that the rest of the companies give you. But the things I really love is that i have winxp again and the computer can actually do whatever i want it to right now and does things as soon as i tell it to which means no more five minute wait for things to load up. But i am grateful for my family and what they do for me.

Yes, Toshiba are one of the laptop brands I would recommend as well. I bought a Toshiba Satellite 2210CDT about a year, or more ago for on-site work, and it's been pretty reliable and fast for what it is.

You do indeed have good family. P.C.'s weren’t even around when I was your age. Just big mainframes, if you had access at all, that do less than the average P.C., nowadays. Complete with punch-cards - yech!

 

It teaches you to appreciate what you have because others may not have the things you do. But yeah no more puch cards phantom now you use a little guy called the cd and even though we have USB ports on computers at school they dont let us use them because they are afraid well infect the computer network with viruses and i think the pc's in my home though are the cleanest ones compared to most of the school lol. So i gotta still use old floppies. This weekend i wanna make a trip to bestbuy to get an external floppy drive and surge protector for this thing. Yeah still getting used to the trackpad but they dont bother me like some other people dont like them. Its atcually so fast im afraid to tweak things cause i dont wanna mess anything up. End of the month though i think im gonna update, run ccleaner, adaware, registry mechanic, and then run scandisk to maintain things. Defrag does need to be worried about because i have diskeeper on this so it auto defrags. Now just to get some good games to show off the graphics and cpu.... lol.
