Once again we celebrate the weekend where a guy was nailed to a cross and then revived by a Rabit holding a chocolate egg :-D

I wonder which company started the whole choco bunny thing? I never could figure out where this crap came from. I guess I better go and bing this.

My memories of Easter are of the religious type from my youth when I used to call this Black Friday as the priest would basically strip the altar bare and leave everything black after the mass.

IDK what they do these days but probably similar. I don't know at all what they do in Catholicism Lite places. Enjoy the Crucifixion and Resurrection!

 

Ahhh, time off with pay thanks to religeous holidays. I'm such a hypocrite:-D

I don't get Monday off. Cusre the private sector.

 

Don't feel that way man! I'm sure the Hebrews and Muslims and everyone else that doesn't celebrate it enjoy the day off too.

 

I'll get over it.

 

I knew the Jewish community didn't believe in Christ. Didn't know why til today. Only took me 45 years to find out. Gotta say, there's a lot to be said about their argument. Hate to p*** on your chips, Christianity, but they could be right.
Tell me He died to absolve mankind of all their sins and I say there must be a better way to go about it than having your only son nailed to a tree. After all, He ain't called God Almighty for nowt.
Religion, don't you just love it?

Hope y'all are having a very happy and safe Easter/holidays. ~ So what choccies, etc did you all get? I got this egg out of the blue that is about 2 feet long and weights about a kilo. Totally unexpected, and will 'prolly take 'till next easter to finish.:yumLOL

 

Easter is over here. I ended up eating some spiral ham, juliette potatoes, dinner rolls, and this salad stuff that they make each year has(chopped apples, grapes, bannans, color mushmellows and something for dressing in it... and corn. And my GF brought home from her parents turnkey! lol
