Happy Family Day

Yes it's Family Day here in Canada, everything is closed and we are all supposed to do things with our families.
Since everything is closed I'm presuming they want us to all sit indoors and reflect on stuff.

So who am I to argue, I'm reflecting on....TV lol
My g/f is reflecting on...line.
And my son is just reflecting :-D

 

The Provincial and Regional Governments had the day off as well as the private sector [stores, banks etc....]

Unfortunately the federal government does not recognize this stat holiday rolleyes

I had to work :mad

But I did make in pay, double time and a half for my work day :celebrate

Yeah I guess I missed out on the extra money since I'm on the sick

Oh well, it's over now, my boys 17th birthday today instead lol

 

We actually have a statutory holiday like that!??? :confused First I hear of it but then I live in Quebec.rolleyes:-D I'm surprised our provincial gov. didn't go tit for tat like they usually do on these types of things. Now I know why the 'Discovery Channel' had a marathon of 'Breaking Point' shows yesterday.uke

Yeah they started it a few months after I landed.... you know, they know us Brits need an extra day off once in a while :-D
