Nothing happy about 16 year old dweebs knocking on my door at nine o'clock at night, fag in one hand, can of Special Brew in the other, with a touch of fake blood at the corner of their mouths. Happy Hallowe'en for me is the dejection and disappointment on their acne ridden faces when I give them a fun size Milky Way and a mini Haribo. Kindness is it's own reward.
Young kids that make an effort are rewarded, however. Just so you all know I'm not a totally miserable old fart.

I wore my halo to work. I figured it was ok since it was halloween and I knew my cover wouldn't be blown. :-D

My UPS guy (who's super cute btw LOL) told me it was the best costume he seen all day. I couldn't tell if he was being nice or he just saw crappy costumes :-D

Bah! - I just left a sack of oranges and a sack of lemons, that I was too lazy to throw in the trash, outside of the front door and refused to answer it rolleyes. ~ Funny thing is - they were all gone by the end of the night.:confused

 

So my dad said 5 kids all came in costumes all under 10,he didn't have any sweets so he paid them a pound eachrolleyes Its a recession he could have got away with a thripney bit.

30 mins later two girls knocked,both about 12-13 wearing no costumes. They said trick or treat and he said your both too old for halloween and they laughed,he said what about that other girl waiting by the gate does she want something as well?

"No she's already been,she told us to come."
