OMG, goldy, that's funny! I myself am going over to a friend's house for Halloween. No Spiderman costume for me, though.

 

I just had a sleep over with like 3 other friends, and that was fun. we played halo, and ps2 and stuff. It was supposed to be on halloween, but since halloween is on a sun. it wouldn't work out.

 

I'm taking my daughter to my moms house. Shes going as cinderella because mom bought her a $30 costume she forgot to return on her birthday trying to bleach whateer she got on them out of her long gloves... ick.

 

I'm going to my friend's party as Napoleon Dynamite. I went out and bought the "Vote for Pedro" shirt and everything. I just need to figure out how to make my hair curly.

 

We had a big party here last night. The kids went from floor to floor playing games and picking up candy at different places. Eric took the kids around while I stayed by our room and did face painting with our friend Robbie. It was really fun. Then we had a presentation by a couple who handles bats. They brought a couple of bats around to show us. It was really cool! They were fruit bats (I guess it's illegal to keep insectivore bats as pets - not to mention really hard to do). I was amazed at how docile they were. We weren't allowed to touch them, but They were really tolerant of all the noise and people. The guy even let me take a couple of pictures.

Tonight is Trick-or-treating with the kids. Kolya is going to be a princess (again) and Drexel is going to be a pirate (Johnny Depp eat your heart out ) I might paint my face for when we go out. I guess we're having a masquerade here at the house tonight and I might pop in for that as well. If I can get PSP loaded, I'll post the pics tomorrow.

 

See?! Do they ever want to be anything more creative than princesses???

Occasionally I can get her to add some wings and let me paint butterfly wings on her face and call her a fairy princess, but she's been a princess of some kind ever since she's had any choice in the matter.

Evidently my town has outlawed trick-or-treating. Have a pile of candy, and haven't seen a little gremlin all day. I'll be eating it until Christmas.

No parties as such, but at work we had a contest Friday, divided by departments. My group painted faces like Kiss... sorta... lame looking bunch, aren't we? LOL. But our area won first place for decorations. Cute little engraved trophy, and 25 bucks apiece for the winners. All the ghosties hanging are battery powered; any noise set them to flapping their arms and making ghosty sounds. Cobwebs strung everywhere, and we had a smoke generator. With the lights off and the smoke billowing, it looked pretty good. Had Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor playing, thanks to me. Our room rocked.

Going to a little haunted house thing with my friend tonight. It's actually really scary (but I'm a wuss, so I get scared easily)! They do a great job every year.
