    It's a miracle!

The sun is actually shining here and the sky is blue. We are even supposed to get into the 50s here (up to 13 degrees for you Celsius people).

    What's everyone's plan.

Today I plan on working on some pictures and tonight I am going to my niece's school play of 'Annie'. :)

    Not so happy here.
We have just had a week of 15 celcius (59F) but today it has dropped to around 5C and we have been warned to expect snow for the next few days (it is supposed to be spring for gods sake)
Me being a greenhouse plant will be staying in the warm for the time being.

Yuck! Sorry to hear that Bill. We've been getting the really cold weather here too. We are moving into the 60s by Monday. I think I'll try to get a bit more yard work done. I got a couple of hours worth done last week one day when it was nicer out.

    Cheers Laura I will :)

Weird how different countries celebrate same things on different days, you'd think they would streamline this!

The greeting card companies must not have colluded to well with each other. :-D I figure they are the ones that came up with things like Mother's Day, Valentines Day, etc.

Indeed and have such things as "happy divorce day" cards! plus happy birthday to your cat/dog! you are "shitting" me that a cat or dog can read the damn card!

You = Give card to dog
Dog = Grrrrrrr what the hell is this I cannot eat this crud! let alone open the bloody envelope.... damn human! Grrrrrrrr

You would have thought they would have these days on mass, unless staggering them makes for better profit!

Just finished MemTest of 2GB on a P4 tower, SATA 1.5 . Installing Windows with an XP SP3 image I snagged via Digital River.

Next up, an older P4 with and IDE drive and 1GB RAM.

We had just enough snow left this morning to sled down the hill without getting soaked thanks to the low temps overnight. Sun is out, and expecting mid 40's F so it won't be around by tonight...

Well this day is pretty craptastic :(. It's skinkin' hot - temps in the high thirties (C) every day. Record high minimums, three freaking cyclones up north and east of Aust.' and another suka coming towards the west coast. Flooding everywhere - except Perth, of course - we just get the humidity to make already shity weather even more unpleasant.
So we voted for the New Premier of W.A. today. Unfortunately the Bozo Barnett got back in with a landslide. So, I guess people must want more of costs of living skyrocketing, more shit getting banned for whatever stupid reason(s). And nothing productive achieved at all :confused. This place has gone to the dogs, I tell ya :(.

~ Other than that, the day was just peachy, Laura. roflmao

Please can I have some of your cool weather.......I said please :-D

We had the seventh hottest summer in over 150 years. With no relief in sight :( This week it has been 40°C during the day and 26°C and sticky humid at night so you can't get to sleep unless you keep the air conditioner running.
My power bill this quarter will be sky high :cry
Hopefully we might get some rain next week and that might cool things down a bit otherwise I will just drink more ice cold beer :drink LOL

@ David we also have Mother's Day in May and also the Queens birthday in June even though her real birthday is on 21st April :-D

Boring Saturday as I'm at Solan where work is. Family is in Delhi where the the temps are at 31C.
    Half day work 9 to1. I decided 2hrs was enough. :-D
Had an old Ubuntu .ISO and loaded it on VM. For no reason... talk about boredom. All this while the family was living it up for lunch at the Delhi Golf Club with friends.
Close to 10pm now- and will pick up Steve Jobs biography by W. Isaacson laying on the bed side.

    Cheers..

The sun is kind of out here, too! And the temperature is nearing 40F (almost 5C), which is really pretty warm. :-D The first part of today is all about being domestic: laundry, dishes, dusting and vacuuming, etc. Somewhere in here I have to get to the library, then make a grape salad for dinner tomorrow. Tonight I go to work at our arena for an AHL game (it's Star Wars night, and we're having 56 costumed characters roaming around the building), then spending some time with a good friend.

Sunny Saturday here too. Should get to 6C (42F-ish) which is a normal temp for here this time of year. I'll spend most of the day inside though. I have to finish "mudding" and sanding the bathroom walls.

@joffa. You have some nerve complaining to us "Northerners" about the heat.:-D

The weather in Houston was OK today (a few scattered showers; around 70F).

Unfortunately, I've been stuck inside all day at my shop trying to fix customers' ancient (XP era) PCs. Today's lesson in retail computer repair: When a customer says, "I think my PC has a little problem," it's either a virus from hell or a toasted motherboard. :banghead

Tomorrow (Sunday) I'll be writing a proposal for a consulting project and hope to find time to do a little shopping.

Kinda late posting because I never unpacked my laptop, was too busy. Spent Friday in traffic, and spent the day at undisclosed private gun range taking a class on practical defensive pistol.

The rain was annoying, but it was light. Was an awesome class! :cool
