Hard Disk Format w 0's

Hi.

I am working to recover a 2TB WD HD Green by physically turning the drive sideways and tapping on the sides to allow the dust to fall to the side and then run a low-level format cmd to reset the logical bad sectors.

I found XP does not support the format X: /fs:ntfs /p:2 command, this is only supported after Windows 7.

I only have XP so I am hoping there is a windows GUI low-level disk formatting utility available somewhere.

The archive on majorgeeks is vast so finding a starting point would greatly help.

Can someone help me find a DOS -AND- XP utility to write the 0s?

Ccleaner has a disk wipe utility under Tools.

I am looking for a program that will wipe the drive with a low-level format though. I've heard of spinrite but I am not looking to boot into DOS mode. This is something I wish to be done in Windows.

Are there any windows platform GUI programs for low-level formats? Frees are preferred.
