Hard Drive Confusion

    After a BSOD "Unmountable Boot Volume" my 2 hard drives seem confused. 'My computer' right-click > properties suggests both have halved their capacity but Disk management shows full capacity and the partitions. I am not able to repartition however. Can an explanation be offered?
